Born July 6, 1983 near Sarnia, Ontario, guitarist/composer/educator Dan Willer began his musical studies at age 14. After extensive studies in the genres of Rock, Blues, Pop, and Classical with Jimmy Lee Fuller, Dan became interested in improvisation and composition. This compelled him to study at Mohawk College where he received his Diploma in Jazz Music. Dan now resides in Hamilton where his is busy as a performer and educator. His talents as a teacher and musician have led him to instruct at music schools in Forest, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Milton, Mississauga, Toronto and Campbellville and has played venues all over Ontario and Quebec. Dan has recorded a number of albums with the rock band Aaron Amadeus who's songs have been played on radio stations across North America and Europe, the West Fifth Jazz Trio, and with tenor sax player Ashley Boichuk, who had a song featured on Toronto’s Jazz FM 91.1. He has also recorded three albums  with a Jazz Quintet, which he formed in September 2005 called the Kaizen  Experience. More recently he has played with Christian Hip Hop group Retali8 and R'n'B songwriter Kojo Damptey. Currently Dan has over 40 guitar/music students and continues to play, record, and freelance throughout Ontario. In 2010 Dan started "Willer Musical Entertainment". W.M.E. specializes in performing background music for weddings, open houses corporate events or any event.
